Schools re-open on Thursday 5th Jan for pupils

The staff return to school on Tuesday 3rd January for two Professional Development and Training days.

The schools re-open for pupils on Thursday. There are tie sales on Weds at 2.30pm and before and after school on Thursday too. Ties are required uniform for  Years 5&6.  Ties cost £4 from school.

All pupils in Years 1 to 6 will meet inividually with their classteachers on Thursday and talk about the learning and work. A Pupil Mentoring Record will then be sent home for paremts to talk through with their child, together with some information about planned topics for the next half term.

As always, it is pupils' progress in learning that is the focus of any discussion because that is the most important aspect of any learning review we do. Whilst the vast majority of children work within the National Curriulum topic areas for their year group and are untimately judged by these attainment and standards, we know that children's progress term by term is the best indicator about how well they are doing overall.

Please speak to the classteacher in the first instance, should you have any questions about your child's learning.
