New front entrance for the schools!

Our new build work is complete. And it was finished on time!

We now have a proper front entrance and link corridor to join both schools together.

All visitors can now simply come to the one new Reception Office to sign in.

The existing green pedestrian side gate will still be open at the start and end of the school day. This access remains convenient for some families coming up Manor Rd to school and if children have scooters or bikes- please use this way onto the site, as a preference.

The new front entrance will be open access at the start and end of the school day so parents and children can walk through it to get to the playgrounds. The crossing patrol on Manor Rd will be positioned in her original place, at the front of the schools.

Please use the following new access/exit arrangements from Monday 11th April onwards (we know it will be very busy to start with until everyone has had a look and appreciate your patience in the meantime.)

 Nursery classes:

Morning Bumblebees  Come onto the school site via the green pedestrian side gate at 8.40am or through the new front entrance.  At the end of Nursery 11.40am, use the new front entrance only.

Afternoon Ladybirds Come onto the school site through the new front entrance at 12.15pm.  At the end of Nursery 3.15pm, use the new front entrance or the green pedestrian gate.

Reception classes: Come into school via the new front entrance and turn left along the corridor- please leave through the Hall, to ease congestion. Classes come out as usual at the end of the day. Parents coming to collect can either walk through the new entrance to get to the playground or use the green pedestrian gate.

Year 5 classes: Enter the site via the green pedestrian gate or walk through the new front entrance. Children come in through the back door as they do at the moment.
